Dead Man's Frontier Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 23, 2026

1. Introduction

Elevated Systems LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) publishes Dead Man's Frontier (“the Game”), a Wild West survivor game for iPhone. This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled when you play, who handles it, and the choices you have. By using the Game, you agree to the practices described here.

2. The Short Version

  • There is no account, sign-in, email or password. We never ask for your name or contact details.
  • We, the developer, do not collect personal data. We do not run servers for the Game, and your progress is saved on your device.
  • Ads are served by Google AdMob. AdMob uses your device's advertising identifier only if you allow tracking when Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt asks.
  • In-app purchases are processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat. We never see your payment details.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

3. Your Game Progress

Your progress, including gold, gems, town buildings, gear, skins, bounties, login streak, statistics and settings, is stored locally on your device. It is not uploaded to us, and we cannot see it.

Because it lives on your device, deleting the Game erases your progress and we cannot restore it. Your device's own iCloud or computer backup, which Apple manages, may include the Game's saved data. Purchases are different: No Ads can be restored on any device signed in to the same Apple Account (see Section 5).

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The Game is free and shows ads served by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. After your first ride, iOS shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt asking whether the Game may track you. Ads begin loading after you answer.

  • If you allow tracking: AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) to show ads that are more relevant to you and to measure how ads perform.
  • If you ask the Game not to track: the IDFA is not available to the Game or to AdMob. You still see ads, but they are not personalized using that identifier.

In either case, the AdMob software in the Game collects limited technical information so it can work: coarse device and app information (such as device model, iOS version, app version, language and your IP address, from which an approximate region may be inferred), ad interaction data (such as which ads were shown and tapped), and diagnostic data (such as ad load errors and performance). Google uses this to deliver ads, limit how often you see the same ad (frequency capping), measure ad performance, and detect and prevent fraud and abuse. Ad networks may also use Apple's SKAdNetwork, which reports ad results to advertisers in aggregate.

Google processes this information under its own policies. Learn more at policies.google.com/privacy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.

5. Purchases (Apple and RevenueCat)

The Game offers optional in-app purchases: No Ads (a one-time purchase) and gem packs. Apple processes every payment through your Apple Account. We never receive or store your card or payment details.

We use RevenueCat, a purchase management service, to validate purchases, unlock No Ads and let you restore it on another device. RevenueCat receives:

  • A random, anonymous app user ID that RevenueCat creates inside the Game. It is not linked to your name, email or Apple Account details.
  • Your purchase history for the Game, including Apple transaction and receipt information.
  • Basic device and app information, such as iOS version, app version, country or storefront and currency.
  • Ad revenue events: when an ad is shown, the ad type, placement and the estimated revenue reported by AdMob, associated with the same anonymous ID, so we can see in one place how the Game earns money.

RevenueCat processes this information on our behalf under its privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy. Apple's handling of payments is described at apple.com/legal/privacy.

6. What We Do Not Collect

The Game does not ask for or access:

  • Your name, email address, phone number or any account login
  • Your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or precise location
  • Health, financial or other sensitive information

We do not use our own analytics service in the Game, and we do not sell your personal information. Depending on where you live, allowing AdMob to use your advertising identifier for personalized ads may be considered “sharing” for targeted advertising. You can decline or withdraw that permission at any time, as described below.

7. Your Choices and How to Opt Out

  • Stop tracking: open the iOS Settings app and go to Privacy & Security → Tracking, then turn off Dead Man's Frontier. You can also turn off Allow Apps to Request to Track for every app. On current versions of iOS, this Tracking setting replaces the older Limit Ad Tracking option; with it off, the advertising identifier is not shared with the Game.
  • Remove forced ads: the optional No Ads purchase stops the ads that play between rides, after upgrades and when you return to the Game. Reward ads that you choose to watch for bonuses remain optional.
  • Stop all data flows: deleting the Game stops all collection described in this policy.

8. Data Retention

We do not keep personal data on our own servers. Game progress stays on your device until you delete the Game. RevenueCat keeps purchase records for as long as needed to provide restores, keep accurate financial records and meet legal obligations. Google keeps advertising data according to its own retention policies, and Apple keeps transaction records under its terms. If you would like us to ask RevenueCat to delete purchase records associated with your anonymous ID, email us and we will help.

9. Children's Privacy

Dead Man's Frontier is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Game, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

10. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal data is processed about you and access it
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing, including for targeted advertising
  • Withdraw consent at any time, for example through the iOS Tracking setting

Because we do not hold personal data ourselves, most requests concern data held by Google, RevenueCat or Apple. Contact us at the email below and we will help you exercise your rights with them.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. Your continued use of the Game after changes means you accept the revised policy.
