Terms of Use | Dead Man's Frontier

1. Acceptance of Terms

These terms cover your use of Dead Man's Frontier (“the Game”), published by Elevated Systems LLC (“we” or “us”). By downloading or playing the Game you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.

2. Apple's Standard EULA

The Game is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). These terms add to the Standard EULA. If the two conflict, the Standard EULA controls. Apple is not responsible for the Game or its content, and has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it.

3. In-App Purchases

The Game is free to download and offers optional in-app purchases:

No Ads (one-time purchase): removes ads that play automatically. Optional reward ads stay available. It can be restored on another device signed in to the same Apple Account using Restore Purchases in the General Store.
Gem packs (consumable): add gems to your saved game. They are used up in the Game and cannot be restored.

Prices are shown in the App Store and in the Game before you buy, and may vary by country. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. There are no subscriptions.

4. Virtual Currency and Items

Gold, gems, chests, gear, skins and other in-game items are a limited license to use within the Game. You do not own them.
They have no cash or real-world value and cannot be exchanged for money, transferred, sold or traded outside the Game.
Chests award a random piece of gear. The odds for each chest in the General Store are listed on our Support page.
Your progress and items are saved on your device. If you delete the Game or lose your device, they are lost and we cannot restore them.
We may adjust game balance, prices in gold or gems, and item stats to keep the Game fair and fun.

5. Refunds

All purchases are handled by Apple. Refunds are at Apple's discretion under their terms, and requests go through reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves. Except where the law requires otherwise, purchases are final.

6. Advertising

The Game shows ads served by Google AdMob. How advertising data is handled, and how to opt out of tracking, is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Fair Use

You agree not to:

Copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the Game, except as the law allows
Use cheats, exploits or tools that alter the Game or its purchases
Use the Game for any unlawful purpose

8. Intellectual Property

The Game, including its artwork, models, music, sounds, characters and code, belongs to Elevated Systems LLC and its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. Nothing in these terms gives you ownership of it.

9. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the Game working well but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change or discontinue features, content or the Game itself.

10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Game is provided “as is” and Elevated Systems LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of it, including lost progress or items. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Game is limited to the amount you paid for in-app purchases in the Game during the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to play the Game after a change means you accept it.
